With a foundation in classical music, having begun his journey on the violin at the age of nine and performing in symphony halls before dedicating himself fully to the guitar, Juan Gutii brings a unique blend of discipline, versatility, and passion to his artistry.
Over the years, Juan Gutii has been recognized with multiple awards for his musicianship, including first-place honors at the prestigious So You Think You Can Shred competition on the Monsters of Rock Cruise, judged by icons such as Joe Satriani, Nuno Bettencourt, Joel Hoekstra, and Michael Wilton, among other awards that highlight his international impact. His live performances have captivated audiences on major stages including Calle 8 in Miami, the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City, the Kia Center Arena in Orlando, and the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, establishing him as a powerful force in contemporary guitar music.
In addition to his career achievements, Juan Gutii holds two bachelor’s degrees from Full Sail University, one in Music Production and one in Music Business, which complement his artistry with a deep understanding of both the creative and professional sides of the industry.
